The kidnappers kept the pensioner in a wooden cage for a month, demanding that the apartment be re-registered in their name.

The Investigative Committee has completed the investigation of the criminal case against Alexander Matyukhin, Nadezhda Evdokimova and Alexey Dekterev, who are accused of murder (points “c”, “g”, “h” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code), kidnapping (points “a”, “ c", "h" of Part 2 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code), extortion (points "b", "c" of Article 163 of the Criminal Code) and theft (point "a" of Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code).

According to investigators , at the beginning of June last year, the accused kidnapped a 26-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, who owed Matyukhin 300 thousand rubles. The abducted woman was kept in a wooden cage in a private house in the Leningrad region. Having not received the debt and having learned that the girl’s mother owned the apartment, Matyukhin and Evdokimov took the kidnapped girl to the forest in the Priozersky district, strangled her and drowned her in the lake.

At the end of June, the defendants kidnapped a 65-year-old woman, the mother of the murdered woman, “using violence and handcuffs.” She was also placed in a private house and kept in a wooden cage, demanding that the apartment be re-registered to the kidnappers.

A month after the abduction, the woman agreed to comply with the demands of the accused. They took her to the department of guardianship and trusteeship of the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg, where the victim asked for help. After this, the kidnappers were detained.
