The Derbent City Court recognized the construction of the museum complex "Tower of Seven Legends" in a specially protected zone near the famous Naryn-Kala fortress and decided to stop all work. In the city, the complex is unofficially known as the Putin's House, regional publications say.

At the same time, surrounded by the contractor, they referred to the failed visit by Vladimir Putin to the 2000th anniversary of Derbent in 2015-supposedly due to the fact that the city could not find a worthy and safe residential object for the head of state.
