In Israel, unknown people shot a family in a car: one person died

In Israel, one person died and three more were injured as a result of shelling by unknown cars in the Adim region in the south of the Hebronsky Highlands. Local authorities have already recognized the incident with a terrorist attack. According to preliminary data, parents and two children were in the car, Newsru Israel reports.

According to local media, 48-year-old Michael Mark was seriously injured and died. His wife was hospitalized in serious condition. Their children received mild injuries as a result of the accident and, together with their mother, were delivered to the Jerusalem hospital "Adas Ain-Krem".

“On the car on highway number 60 south of Hebron, fire was opened: one person was killed, three were injured,” said Peter Lerner, an official representative of the Israeli defense army. According to him, in the area of ​​the attack, the army began to search for fire.

Sources of journalists in security forces also reported that the family was shot by terrorists who were traveling in another car. They released at least 20 bullets and disappeared from the scene, presumably towards one of the neighboring Arab villages.

We will remind, earlier this week, the Palestinian armed with a knife attacked the Israeli settlement of Kiryat-Arb on the western bank of the Jordan River. As a result of the attack, a 13-year-old girl died, and the security guard of the settlement was seriously injured.

According to the investigation, the criminal overcame the security fence separating Kiryat-Arb from the Palestinian territories, and penetrated the house of Ariel's family. He locked the door and attacked 13-year-old Alel Jaffa, who slept in his bed. The attacker inflicted many blows with a knife. Arriving at the place of security service, the settlement hacked the door. One of them was wounded in a fight with a terrorist. As a result, the attacker was shot.

The situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone sharply worsened in October 2015. A series of terrorist attacks, followed by this, was called "intifada knives." For nine months, as a result of more than 300 attacks, about 40 Israeli and more than 200 Palestinians died.
