In Perm, a local resident was fined under the article on the rehabilitation of Nazism

The Perm regional court sentenced local resident Vladimir Luzgin to a fine of 200 thousand rubles, finding him guilty of rehabilitating Nazism (under part 1 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code) because of a repost on a social network. It is reported by "Kommersant".

The court considered that Luzgin was guilty of publicly denying the facts established by the verdict of the International Military Tribunal for the trial and punishment of the main war criminals of the European Axis countries, and spreading deliberately false information about the activities of the USSR during the Second World War.

According to investigators, on December 24, 2014, Vladimir Luzgin reposted on the VKontakte social network the material “15 facts about Bandera, or what the Kremlin is silent about.” The investigation and the court concluded that the material contains “deliberately false information about the activities of the Soviet Union”, in particular the phrase that “the communists and Germany jointly attacked Poland, unleashing the Second World War, that is, communism and Nazism honestly cooperated.” These statements, as stated in the verdict, contradict the facts established by the Nuremberg Tribunal.

Luzgin himself first admitted his guilt, but then changed his position. He did not deny that he had reposted the material on the social network, but noted that he was not familiar with the text of the verdict of the International Tribunal in Nuremberg, and did not identify the communists mentioned in the material with the USSR.
