Energy supply in Bashkiria is restored

The power supply, violated due to failure on the network, was restored in all areas of Bashkiria, Interfax was told in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies on Saturday. About 600 thousand people remained without light on Saturday morning, including residents of the capital of the Ufa region. According to TASS, electricity was also disconnected in parts of the territory of the Chelyabinsk region. With this in mind, more than a million people remained in two regions without light.

At 09:27 Moscow time. In many areas of Bashkiria there was an emergency power outage. For preliminary reason, there was a systemic failure in the networks of Bashkirenergo LLC. A source in the regional services of the region reported that, allegedly, due to a short circuit, the tire system was turned off at the substation in the village of Beketovo Karmaskalinsky district.

The press service of Bashkirenergo OJSC specified that as a result of emergency shutdown of electricity in a number of areas of Bashkiria, more than 600 thousand people remained without light. "There was an accident on the network of 500 kilovolts. To varying degrees, different areas, mostly central ones, did not affect at all - the southeast of the republic," the press service explained.

According to him, for a short time the accident is eliminated, the Ufa and other areas are connected to electricity.

A special commission was created to investigate the reasons for the incident.
