The trial against Anton Nosik will begin on August 3

Presnensky District Court held preliminary hearings in a criminal case against Internet activist Anton Nosik because of a blog post endorsing armed intervention in Syrian affairs, Open Russia reports.

The court refused to return the case to the prosecutor's office and scheduled a trial on the merits for August 3. Nosik rejected the proposal of his lawyer, Sergei Badamshin, and refused to remove the post from his blog.
