The Moscow City Court found A. Pichugin guilty of a series of murders and attempts
The information that Alexei Pichugin, convicted of life imprisonment, was transferred from the Black Dolphin colony in the media on the morning of July 5. Although the day before, he wrote about this on his Facebook page with reference to Pichugin’s lawyers ex-head of Yukos Mikhail Khodorkovsky: “Alexei (Pichugina) was taken out of the colony. The place of his current location is unknown. If someone finds out something, please tell. This is important for human safety. ” Khodorkovsky at the same time emphasized that “troubles” often occur precisely at the “stage”.
Pressure through blackmail
Khodorkovsky also informed that Pichugina had already been visited by representatives of the special services and demanded that he testify to the ex-head of Yukos. In case of refusal, Pichugin was threatened by his brother's arrest. “The brother was called for interrogation and searched,” said the ex -head of Yukos. “Now he is no longer in the Russian Federation.”
A little later, on Khodorkovsky’s page, the record appeared “It looks like we know where Alexey. Tomorrow we will demand confirmation and admission of a lawyer. ”
However, Ksenia Kostromina, Pichugina’s lawyer, said NT that she could not comment on this message.
Meanwhile, according to “Open Russia”, Pichugina is taken from a colony to Moscow. And assumptions have already appeared in the media: Pichugina was delivered to the metropolitan pre -trial detention center “Lefortovo” for investigative actions as part of the investigation of the murder of the mayor of Nefteyugansk Vladimir Petukhov - one of the defendants in this case is Mikhail Khodorkovsky. It seems that the authorities are preparing an absentee trial over Khodorkovsky and from Pichugin want to achieve new evidence.
“So far, I have only unofficial information that my client was transferred and, apparently, to Moscow,” Ksenia Kostromina specified in a conversation with NT. “I can assume that this happened on the weekend (July 2-3- NT).” In the colony by Kostromina, they said that they would notify where her client was transferred, in writing, this notification should be sent by mail within 10 days. “When it eventually comes to relatives, it is incomprehensible,” the lawyer added. “I think that by this moment we will already find Alexei.”
Power is silent
Kostromina herself does not know the purpose of the transfer of the sentence from the place of imprisonment, but does not deny that this may still be connected with the new criminal case against Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
In turn, Alexander Konovalov, the head of the Ministry of Justice, who is subordinate to the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN), told Interfax that he did not know anything about Pichugin's stages.
And in the Federal Penitentiary Service, in response to a request, NT said that in accordance with the current legislation of Russia, they do not have the right to disseminate information about the location of the convicts. “According to Art. 17 of the Criminal Executive Code of the Russian Federation and clause 9 of the internal regulations of correctional institutions, a notification of the location of the convicted person shall be sent no later than 10 days from the date of his arrival in the institution of one of his relatives (at the choice) or his legal representative, ”explained in the penitentiary department.
Former chief of the 4th internal security department of the NK Yukos, Aleksey Pichugin in 2007, was convinced for organizing the murder (1998) of the mayor of Nefteyugansk Vladimir Petukhov, director of the Moscow company “Phoenix” Valentina Korneva (1998), Tambov entrepreneur Sergey Gorin and his wife (2002), as well as an attempt on the ex-adviser for public relations Khodorkovsky Olga Kostin and entrepreneur Sergey Rybin. He did not admit his guilt and refused to testify to the customers of the murder, which, according to law enforcement officers, may be the former leaders of the Yukos. In January 2008, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation upheld the sentence, rejecting the cassation appeal of the lawyers of the convict. Pichugin served the punishment at IK -6 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation in the Orenburg region - “Black Dolphin”. In November 2015, Pichugin filed a petition for pardon in the name of President Vladimir Putin, but in May 2016 he was refused.
