On July 4, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow fined street musician Ivan Kharkovsky 10,000 rubles for organizing the simultaneous stay of citizens in public places (Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was reported on the website of "Rus sitting".
On June 20, Kharkovsky played the guitar not far from the place where another musician Semyon Lashkin was detained - on June 28, the same judge of the same Tver court sentenced Lashkin to a fine of 10 thousand rubles under Art. 20.2.2. Kharkovsky says that only a few people gathered around him, and even those just stood by the wall and listened to him play. At about 21:30, a patrol car appeared, from which the police got out, immediately began to persuade the musician to drive with them to the department. They did not report the reasons for the detention and only insisted that they should go to the police department, and the police department would explain everything.
In the department, the instruments for playing were taken away from the musician and a protocol on an administrative violation under Art. 20.2.2. The trial was scheduled for July 4, but as it turned out, no one expected Kharkovsky in court on July 4. They tried to move the court to September 15, but the musician, in this case, would have been left without instruments, and therefore earnings, for more than two months, insisted that the meeting take place today. The decision is not in his favor, he plans to appeal.
