On the morning of June 26, the New York Governor Democrat, Andrew Kuomo, announced that he had appointed the LGBT memorial commission, which by the end of the year would have to present his recommendations for him, what should be and where the monument to the dead in Orlando could be erected. Kuomo was at the head of the parade, like the candidate from the US Democratic Party for the post of US President Hillary Clinton and the mayor of the city of New York, Bill de Blazio.

One of the popular slogans “I am a gay (or lesbian, or trance). I am Orlando. " The slogan, obviously, was inspired by the Parisian "I am Charlie Ebdo."
