The deputy head of the special construction was arrested on suspicion of major fraud

In Moscow, Deputy Director of the Federal Agency for Special Construction Alexander Buryakov, suspected of fraud on an especially large scale, was arrested. According to Kommersant, employees of the Main Directorate of Economic Security and Combating Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Buryakov last Monday. On the same day, searches were carried out at his house and in an office on Bolotnikovskaya Street. Later, the Tver District Court of Moscow, the court arrested the suspect until August 30.

The Deputy Director of Special Construction is charged with the commission of a crime provided for in paragraph 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code. According to investigators, several more people participated in the fraud, including merchants working under contracts concluded with special construction.

Buryakov was detained exactly a year after his appointment. Until that moment, he was the deputy chief of the Central Production and Administrative Administration of Special Construction.

The press service of the Federal Agency confirmed that criminal cases have been instituted by individual contracting organizations in the facts of improper performance by individual contracting organizations. According to the employees of the special construction, the agency provides maximum assistance to the investigating authorities in the investigation of this criminal case and establishing all the causes and circumstances of the incident.
