In a runaway position

Publicer Svetlana Sinkova, a resident of the city of Usol-Sibirskoye, Irkutsk region, fled to Finland from the persecution of the FSB. This was reported to the "Franes" by a political emigrant Sergey Kryukov, living in Kyiv. On Wednesday, Sinkova arrived through Ukraine at Helsinki Airport and asked for political asylum there. On Thursday, she was sent to the refugee camp.

Sinkova, under the pseudonym, Lyudmila Ivanova published articles on the website of Chechenews.com in support of the North Caucasus liberation movement, in which she sharply criticized the imperial policy of Russia. For one of these articles - “Amir Magas: I am clean to people and God” - a matter was opened against it under Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public calls for terrorism or its public justification), which provides for up to five, and if there is a qualifying sign “using the media” - up to seven years of the colony.

According to Article 151 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (investigation) of the case under an article imputed Sinkova, the TFR must conduct. However, Kryukov claims that the publicist case was in the production of the Irkutsk FSB.

Rosfinmonitoring included Sinkov in the list of terrorists and extremists, thereby blocking its bank accounts.

On June 20, in Irkutsk, the accused was supposed to undergo an outpatient psychiatric examination. There was a danger that according to the results of the examination, the publicist would be forcibly sent to a psychiatric hospital. Without waiting for the examination, Sinkova left Russia.

In 2014, reprints in the personal blog "Russia - Prison of Peoples" of the five articles of Sinkova (Ivanova) compiled two episodes in the case of Kryukov himself . For these reposts, he was charged with part 1 of article 205.2 and part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (excitement of hatred or enmity). It was about the articles of “The Light Memory of Shamil Basayev” (with the video “Military Amir of the Caucasus”), “See the Caucasus Free”, “In memory of Aslan Maskhadov”, “Russian invaders hate oppressed peoples” and “A look at the Russians from the inside”.

Sinkova is 41 years old, it is blind from birth. In her house in the Usolye-Siberian, a publicist was created by the Antiques Museum. In connection with the creation of this museum, she became one of the heroes of the plot of the blind, prepared by the Russia-1 television channel in November 2014.
