Rosspirtprom will stop the production of vodka

The State OJSC Rosspirtprom will stop the production of vodka and liquor products in 2016, follows from the company's report for 2015.

The company focuses on alcohol production, as well as storage and disposal of illegal alcohol -containing products and equipment used for its production.

The Rosspirtprom explained that the alcohol market for the company is more attractive than the liquidation. After the Rosalkogolregulovy reduced the minimum vodka price to 185 rubles from 220 rubles, the break -by selling alcohol of the Rosspirtprom trading brands became impossible, the company explained.

As follows from the financial report, in 2015 the share of the company in the vodka market decreased to 1.1% from 2.9% a year earlier. Last year, Rosspirtprom suspended the release of vodka at the Zlatoust, Kostroma and Volgograd liquids. Earlier it became known that Rosspirtprom bought eight distillery for 5.7 billion rubles.

Rosspirtprom produces vodka under the brands “Old Mark”, “Kalina Red”, “People’s Vodka” and others. Also, under the control of OJSC, the release of vodka "Good Bear", "The booze", "Russian".
