
The net profit of Sberbank for the first six months of 2016 amounted to 229.4 billion rubles, follows from the published results of the Bank according to Russian Buchi -Buching standards (RAS).
This is 2.8 times more than profit in the first half of 2015, specified in a press release from Sberbank. In June, Sberbank received 45.1 billion rubles of net profit.
The net interest income of the bank in the first half of the year reached 542.9 billion rubles - 62.6% more than a year earlier. Pure commission income increased by 25.9% to 147.5 billion rubles. As indicated in Sberbank, the main increase is provided by bank cards, acquiring, calculation cash services and banking insurance.
On July 7, Sberbank also said that its venture fund SBT Venture Fund I invested in the Uber taxi call service. The amount of investments is not disclosed. The SBT Venture Fund I controls $ 100 million, the fund has now invested in 11 high -tech companies around the world.
Earlier, Sberbank reported on profit in RAS for the first quarter - 100.4 billion rubles. This almost four times higher than the same period last year.
According to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the total profit of Russian banks for the first five months of 2016 amounted to 235 billion rubles against 9 billion rubles for the same time a year earlier. According to the regulator, in total in 2016, banks will make a profit at the level of 599 billion rubles.
