
The former head of Sergiev Posad Viktor Bukin is extracted to Russia, the press service of the TFR reports . He is accused of committing a crime under part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code (receiving a bribe on an especially large scale).
According to investigators, in 2014, the administration of the city settlement Sergiev Posad was applied by the director of a commercial company from Kostroma with a statement on the transfer of about 48 million rubles recovered from the administration on the basis of a court decision.
“In the future, the head of the city settlement Sergiev Posad Bukin put forward an illegal condition under which the debt can be repaid only if he was transferred 50 percent of the amount of the debt. At the same time, he said that his interests would be represented by the head of the legal department of the administration,” the report said.
In June 2015, part of the cash was received from the city at the expense of the Kostroma company. On July 10, 2015, intermediary Sergei Klimov arrived in Kostroma. After receiving a bribe in the amount of 6 million rubles, it was detained by employees of the regional department of the FSB.
The court found Klimov guilty under part 4 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code (mediation in bribery). He was sentenced to a fine of 30 million rubles.
Bukin himself left Russia. In December 2015, at the written appeal of the mayor, the Council of Deputies of Sergiev Posad satisfied his request for early reservation.
On December 30, the Serbian police in Interpol detained Bukin in the city of Novi-Sad, where he had been constantly living recently.
