The head of the energy holding Anton Zingarevich became a defendant in a criminal case

The Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case against the owner of the Energostroyinvest-Holding Group of Companies Anton Zings Zings. According to Kommersant, he is suspected of fraudulent embezzlement at the MTS-bank of a loan worth 1 billion rubles.

The criminal case against Zingarievich, the son of a former member of the board of directors of Rossetei and the co -owner of the Ilim group Boris Zings, was instituted on July 5. The basis was the appeal of the leadership of the MTS Bank in the Department of Internal Affairs of the Tver Moscow. After conducting a preliminary investigation, the materials were sent to the Office for the investigation of organized criminal activity of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. So far, in the criminal case, according to the sources of the publication, two defendants: in addition to Zingarevich, to the “lending fraud in an especially large scale” to the “fraud in the field of lending” (part 4 of Article 159.1 of the Criminal Code) is the general director of this company Konstantin Shishkin.

According to investigators, Shishkin applied to the bank in 2013 with an application for the provision of Energo IC of the loan in the amount of 1 billion rubles, which is supposedly necessary to replenish the company's working capital. Esih, as well as LLC New Yeginering Company LLC, and LLC Setstroykomplekt, which are part of the same Holding Zingarevich, acted as a loan guarantors.

According to the investigation, both heads of the holding, as well as their accomplices that were not yet established, intended to use the loan for other purposes, as they presented false information about the activities of their companies to the bank. Based on these data, the Big credit committee of the bank approved the loan.

After receiving the loan, the case file says, the attackers “sprayed” the received loan, transferring money to the accounts of the CSC, Nick and IC Energo, thus disposing of “these money in favor of third parties”. As the investigation already found out, the loan received from the MTS Bank Credit made it possible to pay off the debt to Zingarshevich Jr. to the Bank of St. Petersburg, as well as for some time to maintain the Atlant hockey club near Moscow. In addition, the weighty part of the funds was brought abroad.

In January 2016, Energo was declared bankrupt by decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court.

Prior to this, Alfa-Bank and Globex Bank had claims to Energostroyinvest Holding. However, then only “unidentified persons from the company’s management” appeared in the affairs. As a result, Alfa-Bank and Globeks signed a global agreement on debt restructuring.

In 2012, the resonance caused Zingarevich’s purchase for 25 million pounds of the English football club Reding. Having played a year in the Premier League, the club flew out of it, after which it was sold for a symbolic amount of 1 pound to a group of Thai investors. In 2013, Zingarevich Jr. acquired the Mytishchi hockey club Atlant, which soon also was left without funding.
