Antimaydan turned to the head of the Ministry of Justice Alexander Konovalov with a request to conduct an audit on the fact of receiving the Levada Center of Foreign Grants. This was reported on the movement website.
"The Levada Center, according to the US government website ... On public procurement, continues to conduct research on the US Department of Defense by order of the University of Wisconsin," the Anti -Maidan movement said in a denunciation signed.
The University of Wisconsin, say in Anti-Maidan, acts as an intermediary between the Pentagon and the Levada Center. "By order of the American military, employees of this Russian sociological service collected information in Moscow and regions," the movement said.
Thus, the authors of the denunciation conclude, the Levada Center hides that is a "foreign agent".
In support of their conclusions, they refer to the financial reports of government funds of the United States. It is claimed that since 2012 the Levada Center received more than 120 thousand dollars from these funds.
The director of the center Lev Gudkov, was reminded of Anti -Maidan, repeatedly stated that his organization independently earns funds for research and does not depend on anyone. In this regard, Antimaydan accused the sociologist of lies. "If, according to Gudkov, this is (the collection of information for the Pentagon. - Ed.) Not intelligence activities, then what can be considered one?!" - said the Anti -Maidanites.
On the website of the Levada Center and the FB page of Gudkov comments due to the denunciation of Antimaydan as of 15 hours Moscow time did not appear.
Meanwhile, the Moscow Komsomolets noted that Antimaydan turned to Konovalov, after the Levada Center on July 6 published the results of a study on the perception of the country's country of marsh business. According to sociologists, 54 percent of respondents believe that this case was fabricated in order to intimidate the opposition community.
