The indifference to the fate of political prisoners is an advance payment issued by society for future mass repressions. The number of political prisoners in Russia is growing rapidly, and attention to them from society and democratic media is less and less. It got to the point that if a hundred people come to the courtroom to the courtroom of the courtroom, this is considered a great success.
“Swamp business” , according to which they do not cease to plant more and more new people, will continue for a few more years. Now eight people are languishing in the dungeons. Courts regularly pass as they are suppressed, on which only a few people appear as a support group and spectators. More and more citizens are pursued and planted for posts in social networks. For participation in single pickets , civil activist Ildar Dadin sits in prison. And the “furious printer” introduced so many new “corpus delicti” to the Criminal Code that you can now send almost any and almost any protest activity.
Yes, there are human rights organizations, for example, the "Committee May 6" or "Union of solidarity with political prisoners." Collects money to protect the political and former prisoner of the "Swamp" Vladimir Akimenkov. But there is little money to collect money, it is not enough to cover at least half of the expenses for most political prisoners, and many are not able to cover with such help in general.
The Putin system gives a signal - you can beat disagreements, you will not be anything for it
With the help of television propaganda, the authorities fuele the hatred, aimed at the disagreements among its supporters, at those who think critically and openly declare this. Soon, not only bandits from the "National Liberation Movement", but also drunk and untidy men from sleeping areas, reviewing Dmitry Kiselev and Vladimir Solovyov, will be beaten by oppositionists. And they will remain unpunished, and in some cases, those whom they beat will be subjected to criminal prosecution. Something about this happened to me when, after a group beating in the entrance in North Medvedkov, they brought me to criminal liability, and not those who beat me. This is beneficial to the authorities, because I was then an opposition candidate for deputies and distributed campaign materials that spoke about the arbitrariness of the current regime. Thus, the Putin system gives a signal - you can beat disagreements, you will not be anything for it!
Until you were broken by the door and searched for the commentary of VKontakte until you were beaten on the street for the fact that you are subscribed to the opposition public, you must act. You can volunteer in a human rights organization, sacrifice them money. To journalists - to write articles about political and politicians - not to abandon this topic on their agenda. You can at least make reposts about political prisoners on social networks or getting off from work and come to court once every six months. The form of participation can be chosen any. The main thing is to notice this topic and not turn away from it. To bear responsibility for those who are not with us now, but in a dirty and cramped prison cell.
I write on this unpopular topic, because I consider it my duty, although I understand that in fact few people will think about what it is written in this text: they are shed further with fatigue. In this sense, the authorities won - she managed to turn political affairs into everyday life, which does not excite society.
