
At the Innoprom-2016 industrial exhibition, which takes place in Yekaterinburg, the first Russian industrial 3D printer for metal products is presented.
Currently, there is a construction of an installation that can produce up to 50 tons per year. Powers made of copper, aluminum, titanium and nickel will begin to be produced for this printer in the city of Novouralsk in the Sverdlovsk region in the first quarter of 2017.
The device and software for such a 3D printer are completely domestic development. And 70% of its details are domestic. Specialists of the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation “TsNIITMASH JSC”, which is part of the Rosatoma Machine -Building Division - JSC Atomenergomash, together with the Rosatoma, JSC, “Science and Innovation”, worked on its creation.
The device is equipped with a laser with a capacity of 1000 W and a three -axis scanning optical system. The forecast print speed is from 15 to 70 cubic cm/hour, which corresponds to the characteristics of imported analogues. However, the Russian printer is two times cheaper than foreign analogues: its cost is 30 million rubles, the Rosnauka portal reports.
With the serial release of 3D printers on metal powders, the domestic industry will be able to switch to a new stage - digital production, covering the entire cycle, from design to obtaining the finished product.
“In the future, the development of the 3D printing direction should significantly reduce the costs, production time and, in general, will increase the competitiveness of Russian companies in the global market,” the General Director of Atomenergomash JSC Andrei Nikipelov explained to Gazeta.ru .
According to TASS, for the first time the technology for the production of metal powders for additive machines was presented at Innoprom-2015. Then the Ural scientists showed aluminum powder for 3D printing. During the tests, the powder proved himself better than the German analogue, which is used on 3D printers now.
