Theresa May became Prime Minister of Great Britain

Theresa May has become the new British Prime Minister. It is reported by the BBC.

May took charge of the British government after meeting with Queen Elizabeth II. Shortly before this, the Queen accepted the resignation of the previous Prime Minister David Cameron. In Cameron's government, May was Secretary of the Interior.

After meeting with the Queen, May traveled to the Prime Minister's residence on Downing Street in London, where she delivered her first speech in her new post.
