The Ministry of Internal Affairs handed over to the Investigative Committee the materials of the check carried out against the former head of the Russian Railways, Vladimir Yakunin, following a complaint from the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK). This was reported by the RNS agency, which received the response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the request of FBK director Roman Rubanov. The materials were sent to the Investigative Committee "to conduct an audit and make a procedural decision."
In a commentary to RBC, Rubanov said that he received a response from the Ministry of Internal Affairs back in May. According to him, there was no reaction from the Investigative Committee, although the deadlines for verification have already passed.
