The euro exchange rate fell below 70 rubles

The euro fell below 70 rubles in trading on the Moscow Exchange. This is the lowest value since December 2015.

The dollar fell below 63 rubles. The European and American currencies fell by almost a ruble in a day.

• The euro and dollar are declining against the ruble amid rising oil prices. At auction in London on July 14, a barrel of Brent oil costs more than $47. During the day, it has risen in price by about one and a half percent.
