The Russian list of terrorists and extremists was replenished with the names of more than two dozen inhabitants of the annexed Crimea

The federal list of terrorists and extremists of Russia includes the names of 22 residents of the annexed Crimea. Some of them were forced to leave the peninsula: Crimean political prisoners, journalists, public figures - the website "Crimea. Realities" reported.

Rosfinmonitoring ranked “terrorists” and “extremists” of convicts in the so -called “Sentsov case”: Alexander Kolchenko, Oleg Sentsov himself, as well as Alexei Chirniya and the recently liberated and recently released and returned to Ukraine, Gennady Afanasyev. The list included journalist Anna Andrievskaya and the freelance observer of Ukrainian service Radio Freedom Nikolai Semen pursued by the Russian authorities in Crimea.

Director of the SOVA information and analytical center , Alexander Verkhovsky, explains who today is considered terrorists and extremists under Russian laws:

- There is a definition, but it cannot be called clear. There is a list of actions for a whole page, in decreasing: starting with terrorism and attempts to overthrow the state system, ending with the drawing of the swastika on the fence. In Russia, extremism is not necessarily a criminal offense, and all in a row who has committed something like that falls into the list of such violators.

According to Alexander Verkhovsky, people who are only considered suspects on “extremist” cases or are in operational development are also in the same list, although their surnames are not published. However, the place in the list of terrorists and extremists guarantees a mass of Russia to a Russian citizen:

- In recent years, these people, without special permission, cannot withdraw more than 10 thousand rubles per family member from their accounts. I know about the case when a person could not pay for the fine appointed to him by the court, because he simply could not withdraw money from the account. It turns out that even without a court decision, a citizen is limited to the right to dispose of their own money! As for the processes themselves in extremism, then in Russia only last year there were more than 600 of them.

One person can be condemned even for repost in a social network

At the same time, it cannot be said that mass repressions are in the country, Alexander Verkhovsky believes: one person can even be condemned for the repost of statements on the social network, and all the others who shared the same record will not be punished. As a rule, in such cases, only all kinds of activists fall under the blow.

The Crimean journalist, recently entered in the "extremist" list, Anna Andrievskaya :

- This is one of the ways of psychological impact on the Crimeans who left the peninsula, and the persecution of those who remained. For me and for those who left Crimea, this does not pose a direct threat, but each of us has related and other connections. If the anti -ethnic legislation in Russia will still change, then this, of course, can cause additional difficulties and risks. I did not receive any notifications either on the introduction to this list, or in the criminal case, which was even earlier initiated after my publication.

Lawyer of the Crimean journalist Nikolai Semyon Alexander Popkov :

- Many of my colleagues believe that inclusion in such lists is extrajudicial reprisal, this is unacceptable in the legal state, which still formally remains Russia. "

Crimeans like Nikolai Semyon and Refat Chubarov are listed as Russian citizens!

The coordinator of the Crimean human rights group Olga Skripnik notes that many Ukrainians may not know that they were in some hidden Russian list, as well as about the Russian citizenship imposed by him:

- We must understand that there are a lot of various lists in Russia, and not all of them are public. What Rosfinmonitoring published is a list of people who will experience financial restrictions. But this does not mean that they will not have other problems, according to the lists unknown to us. Another thing is more interesting: the Crimeans like Anna Andrievskaya, Nikolai Semyon and Refat Chubarov are listed in Rosfinmonitoring as Russian citizens! Of course, all this in a normal state is unacceptable, but in Russia in recent years, in fact has been legalized.
