After the murder of a businessman near Solnechnogorsk, a criminal case was opened

In the Moscow region, after the murder of a businessman, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder) and under Article 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal trafficking in weapons). This was reported on the website of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee.

According to investigators, on July 18 at about 8 a.m. in the village of Krasny Voin, Solnechnogorsk district, a car driven by a 42-year-old businessman was shot at while leaving his house.

“It has been previously established that at least two shots from a firearm were fired into the windshield of the businessman’s car. The man died on the spot from his injuries,” the department said in a statement.

As Life reports , murdered businessman Sergei Semenin was previously the general director of the Component plant, and until now was its founder. The plant produces radio-electronic equipment.
