Algorithmia: The neural network paints black and white photos

The American company Algorithmia introduced an online service painting black and white photos. To process the pictures, machine learning algorithms are used: the neural network on test data has learned to “predict” the most suitable color for a particular element of photography.

To paint a black and white photo in the Algorithmia service, just insert a link to it in a special field. After processing, the user is offered to compare the original and the painted version, moving the slider from the photograph.
