The case against Polonsky about the theft of 2.6 billion rubles was sent to court

The General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation announced that she approved the indictment in the criminal case against the former head of the development company Mirax Group Sergey Polonsky and two more defendants in this case and sent him to the Presnensky district court of Moscow for consideration on the merits.

Polonsky is charged with Part 4 of Art. 159 ("Fraud on an especially large scale), and Alexander Paperno and Alexei Pronyakin are accused under Part 4 of Article 159 and part 5 of article 33 (" Aiding in fraud ") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, from 2008 to 2009, Polonsky with the members of the board of directors of the company Alexei Adikaev, Dmitry Lutsenko and Maxim Temnikov, with the accompligy of the head of the financial department of this Corporation Paperno and the general director of Avanta LLC Pronyakina, stole the money of participants in shared construction of elite residential complexes Kutuzovskaya Milya and "Rublevskaya Riviera" totaling 2.6 billion rubles.

The investigation against Adikaev, Lutsenko and Temnikov, who are on the international wanted list, continues the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, notified the Prosecutor General’s Office.

On June 7, the Moscow City Court extended the arrest of Polonsky until August 12, according to the investigation, which asked to leave the accused in jail so that he would not escape from the court. The intercession of the Business Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Boris Titov, who himself is one of the deceived equity holders and asked the court to mitigate the preventive measure of Polonsky, did not help him be released.

Polonsky was deported to Moscow from Cambodia last May and has been under arrest since then. Two criminal cases against Polonsky - about the theft of the funds of the equity holders of the Kutuzovskaya Mile and the Rublevsky Riviera - were combined into one production. On June 1, it became known that Polonsky played a wedding in the pre -trial detention center "Sailor Silence".

The Tver court of the capital in absentia arrested three former Polonsky colleagues in Mirax Group - Adikaev, Lutsenko and Temnikov.
