Erdogan spoke about the death penalty in Russia

Turkish President Rezhip Erdogan, listing countries that did not cancel the death penalty on its territory, mentioned Russia. It is reported by the Air Force .

“Where is there no death penalty now? In America? In Russia? In China? In countries around the world? It is not only in the countries of the European Union, ”Erdogan said.

After the failed coup, the Turkish president referred to the will of the people and claimed that the people of Turkey demanded the restoration of the death penalty.

EU representatives warned Erdogan that the return of the highest measure would put an end to the country's attempts to enter the European Union. US Secretary of State John Kerry said Turkey may lose NATO membership.
