The court in Novom Urengoy fined two participants in the hunger strike of protest Yuri Bulgar and Nadezhda Kashtanov for 10 thousand rubles, the OVD-Info reports . They are found guilty of conducting an inconsistent campaign under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

In relation to Bulgar, there is another administrative court. He is accused of that he appeared in the form of an employee of the Ministry of Emergencies, already being a pensioner, and not an operating employee.

On July 11, five residents of New Urengoy were defeated under the windows of the city administration. They announced a hunger strike, demanding the assistance of the authorities in resolving complex housing issues. Some starving actually have nowhere to live. The participants of the action drew up protocols on the organization of an inconsistent public event and were obliged to independently appear in the police department.

On July 12, representatives of the administration refused to accept the initiative group of human rights activists, who tried to become intermediaries in negotiations between the administration and starving. On July 13, representatives of the prosecutor's office came. They took explanatory from the participants in the protest camp.

On Tuesday, the participants of the hunger strike were invited by the deputy mayor of the New Urengoy Andrei Voronov. At the meeting, he promised to figure out their question and asked the residents to prepare documents. “It is worth noting that these documents, statements and appeals of protesting participants have already littered all the departments of the city and region. After the Novorengians came out of the reception of Voronov, the police arrived to them and proceeded to the detentions,” the activist Elena Sidorenova said .

Three participants in the hunger strike, Taras Kiselev, Dmitry Oleinik and Jeanne Belik, were released from the police after giving explanations. Bulgar and Kashtanov were left for the night in the police.
