The Tver Regional Court confirmed the verdict of Andrey Bubeev

The Tver Regional Court refused to satisfy Andrei Bubeev's appeal against the verdict of the court of first instance. Thus, the decision of the Zavolzhsky District Court of Tver (dated May 5, 2016) came into force, which sentenced Bubeev to 2 years and 3 months in prison in a colony-settlement, Agora . reports

Mechanical engineer Bubeev was accused of public calls to carry out extremist activities (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code) and public calls to carry out activities aimed at violating the territorial integrity of Russia (Part 2 of Article 280.1 of the Criminal Code). The reason for the criminal prosecution was one repost of the material “Crimea is Ukraine” by publicist Boris Stomakhin and one picture on the same topic on Bubeev’s VKontakte page.
