"Orthodox activists" attacked the defenders of the Park "Peatfyanka", they do not react in the council

On the night of July 21, activists of the forty forty movement, advocating the construction of the temple in the territory of the Moscow Park “Koropyanka”, tried to bring a new construction fence to the site in the park. Several dozens of park defenders gathered on the spot. According to eyewitnesses, one of the activists hit the elderly defender of the “peat” in the face. The police arrived do not take any actions.

The assistant to the deputy of the Duma, Alexander Potapov, Vladislav Kuznetsov, on behalf of the local residents, called the council of the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow and reported the conflict. However, the duty officer replied that since she supports the construction of temples, she would not report to anyone about the conflict.

Defenders of the park claim that the building permit is canceled by the Orthodox community, the lease term of the site expires in August. Meanwhile, according to eyewitnesses, the “Forty Forters” movement convenes “fighters” from all over Moscow.
