Earlier, the court agreed to add to the case file the result of an independent examination, which concluded that Volkov, accused of obstructing journalistic activity at the request of Alexander Postupinsky, an employee of the LifeNews TV channel, did not injure the journalist, and also could not damage the microphone, since the journalist himself was holding on to the broken part .

The criminal case was initiated in August 2015, when Volkov led the election headquarters of the PARNASN party before the elections in Novosibirsk.
