Having received these materials, scientists using a 3D printer created copies of all ten fingers of a late man. Then, a thin -conducting layer of metal was applied to the casts so that the capacitive smartphone scanner recognized them like real prints. Currently, scientists are testing copied prints in the laboratory. In case of successful completion of tests that will take several weeks, casts will be transferred to the police.
