The Prosecutor General also said that the cases of 19 "Berkutovites" involved in executions on the Maidan were transferred to court. Six of them are in custody. The affairs of 13 more people are at the stage of the pre -trial investigation, five of them were arrested. According to Lutsenko, no later than the end of this fall, these cases will also be submitted to the court.
Another 36 people are wanted and will be convicted in absentia. "I also assume the transfer of this prosecution in court this year," said the Prosecutor General.
On July 14, Lutsenko said that investigators of the special investigation department of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine discovered the details of a sniper rifle and machine guns , from which the Berkutians shot activists of Euromaidan. According to the Prosecutor General, we are talking about the same rifle, "which the whole country saw in the hands of the killer at the October Palace." The Prosecutor General added that the investigators conducted searches from persons involved in the export from Kyiv and the destruction of weapons of the Berkutians.
At the same time, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the presidential bloc of Petro Poroshenko Vladimir Aryev said that the very people who took the Berkutovites from Kyiv after the victory of the Maidan drowned weapons. The names of these people are known, Aryev added, but in the interests of the investigation are not revealed. “But when they are released, it will be a big and unpleasant surprise,” he added.

According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, on February 18-20, 2014, 1528 people were injured in the center of Kyiv in clashes, 103 people died.
The assistant to the prosecutor general of Ukraine Vladislav Kutsenko stated that Viktor Yanukovych, who then held the post of president of Ukraine, personally ordered the use of weapons against the Maidan.
