Director of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky said that the ban on the use of Pokémon Go game mobile application in the halls will not be introduced until the players damage the showcase.

“There will be no prohibitions until someone flies into the window when fishing,” Interfax quotes Piotrovsky.

The director of the Hermitage also said that the museum will not yet prohibit the use of sticks for a selfie. “There were such proposals, but so far we do not forbid them: they do not interfere much,” said Piotrovsky.

Pokémon Go is a mobile game with augmented reality elements (the picture on the smartphone screen is projected on the locations of the real world). The goal of the game is to find Pokemon in the real world - characters of popular Japanese computer games and comics - and train them, then to participate in battles with Pokemon of other players.

Roskomnadzor warned of malicious versions of the game that allow you to intercept control of the victim’s device, abduct its personal data and monitor movements.

In addition, RIA Novosti notes, Russian banks offer trauma insurance during the game, the veteran of the Russian special services did not rule out that the application can be used for espionage, and the assistant Prime Minister Gennady Onishchenko expressed his fear that the game could seriously influence the psyche.
