The head of the Federal Customs Service, Andrei Belyaninov, whose house was searched on July 26, told investigators that the money found on him was “family savings.” It is reported by REN-TV, citing a source.
The interlocutor of the TV channel specified that 9.5 million rubles, 490 thousand dollars and 350 thousand euros were found with Belyaninov. Earlier, a TASS source called slightly different amounts.
