Two Turkish generals suspected of involvement in the attempt of the coup, were detained in Dubai, reports CNN Turk

Two Turkish generals were detained in the United Arab Emirates and issued by Turkey, according to the Turkish television channel CNN Turk with reference to diplomatic sources.

According to them, the detainees are Major General Dzhahit Bakyr, commander of the Turkish troops as part of the NATO contingent in Afghanistan, and the brigade General Shener Topuch, who was responsible for military training and medical care as part of the Turkish contingent in this country.

According to sources, the generals were detained at Dubai Airport and delivered to Turkey on Tuesday morning, July 26. According to CNN Turk, the military is suspected of cooperation with the opposition movement "Hismet", called Ankara Feto ( abbreviation from the English naming Fethullah Terrorist Organising), which was founded by the famous Turkish preacher living in the USA, Fetullah Gulen.

The Turkish authorities consider Gulen the organizer of the recently occurred in the country to attempts of the coup . At least 246 people died during the riots.

Turkey officially demanded that the United States have Gulen's extradition. However, the United States is in no hurry to fulfill Ankara's demand. Gulen himself denies his involvement in the rebellion. In a column in the American newspaper The New York Times, he accused Turkey of blackmail of the United States, and the president of the country, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, of authoritarianism.
