
In Stavropol on Tuesday evening, the deputy head of the regional FSB for economic issues, Sergei Bondarenko, was killed in his apartment. This was announced by RBC with reference to the publication of RIA Novosti and Interfax. Meanwhile, on the sites of the agencies themselves, it was not possible to find the relevant publications on Wednesday morning, while TASS reported that the version of the murder is excluded in law enforcement agencies. “Most likely, it was suicide,” the agency quoted the words of his interlocutor.
Meanwhile, according to the “Notepad-Stavropol” information , the chopped wounds found on the body of 49-year-old Bondarenko, they make him suggest that he fought off the attackers. The deceased, noted the publication, received several wounds of limbs and a mortal blow with a knife in the stomach.
The publication also reported that before his death, Bondarenko called his son Cyril, who was in Moscow, and asked to call an ambulance. He did so, but the arrived doctors informed him that no one opened the door. Then Bondarenko Jr. called the Ministry of Emergencies. When the door to the apartment was broken, the security forces were already dead.
Bondarenko is called "a well -known man in the Stavropol Territory." His wife, Elena Bondarenko, is a deputy of the regional Duma from United Russia. This year she again nominates to the deputies.
