Home arrest Sharina was extended until August 29

The Presnensky District Court of Moscow extended to the Director of the Library of Ukrainian Literature Natalya Sharina the term of home arrest until August 29. This was reported by RAPSI.

On June 7, lawyer Ivan Pavlov said that the final charges were charged and, together with his colleague for “team 29”, Evgeny Smirnov began to study the case materials. In the final version of the prosecution, the director of the library is charged with paragraph "b" of part 2 of article 282 (arousal of hatred or enmity using an official position, sanction up to 5 years of colony) and part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement on an especially large amount, up to 10 years).

At the same time, Pavlov noted, "in eight months, the investigation was not able to formulate which actions committed by the ball must be recognized as criminal."

On October 28, 2015 , searches were held in the library of Ukrainian literature and in Sharina’s apartment . The only prohibited publication, which, according to the Investigative Committee, was seized in the library, was the book of Dmitry Korchinsky , Vyne in Tagnpі ("War in the crowd", 1999), which was recognized as extremist in March 2013. At the same time, the library employees argued that there were no this book in the funds - it was precisely by law enforcement officers to be thrown into the library.

Visiters did not find any other forbidden literature. Books about Stepan Bandera, OUN and UPA were withdrawn, although none of these books are listed in the list of extremist materials. The investigators also seized the Barvinov children's journal, stating that it depicts the flag of the Right Sector.

According to the results of the search, Sharin was detained. On October 30, the Tagansky district court of Moscowplaced the detainee under house arrest . In the future, house arrest was repeatedly extended , and the defense appeals deviated .

Initially, only the "extremist" 282nd article was charged with the ball. However, on April 5, 2016, the department of the capital's head of the Investigative Committee of the Investigation of Particularly important cases also charged her with embezzlement . It was claimed in 2011-2013, when the ball was persecuted in the previous case, she spent on her protection the funds intended for the payment of salaries to the lawyers of the library.

Pavlov called the new accusation absurd. He noticed that in 2013 this case against the ball was closed behind the lack of corpus delicti, and the library lawyers did not have a lawyer status and therefore could not protect the ball on their own - it was the lawyer who paid from her own funds that she paid for the accused. The meaning of the initiation of a new case was concluded, the lawyer concluded, to continue to renew the ball of house arrest: on charges of extremism, she could not appoint this preventive measure for more than half a year, while the accusation of embezzlement allows.

On May 26, it became known that Evgeny Tarasov, the factory department of the RAS Language Institute, conducting an examination in the Sharina case, saw signs of extremism in almost all the analyzed publications, including the Barvin magazine.
