The design of the form of Russian Olympians was changed to prophylaxis of infectious diseases, including Zika virus. This was stated by the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, reports TASS.

Measures for the prevention of any infectious diseases among members of the Olympic, Paralympic teams, as well as among tourists, are held by Rospotrebnadzor in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and with the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) since the beginning of 2016, Popova noted.

"Proposals for laboratory diagnostics were given, for medical care for infectious patients, and most importantly, on preventive measures: for organizing anti -brimming processing, to prevent transmissive fees. As a result, the design of the form for our athletes was changed, and all the necessary measures were taken. For, for example, the risks of infectious diseases were absent," the head said completely departments.
