
Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed his plenipotentiary in the North-Western Federal District (North-West) Vladimir Bulavin. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the Kremlin press service.
Putin’s decree on the dismissal of Bulavin from office comes into force from the day of its signing, the press service notes.
Instead of Bulavin, Nikolai Tsukanov, who previously served as the Governor of the Kaliningrad Region, was appointed to the post of President’s plenipotentiary at the North -West Medical Sciences.
Vladimir Bulavin was appointed to the president’s plenipotentiary in the North -West on March 11, 2013. Earlier, since 2008, he served as First Deputy Secretary of the Council of Security of Russia.
