Two cooks, manager, financial analyst and mathematics teacher were accused of causing serious bodily harm, violation of public order and police resistance. The names of the defendants are not called. In the courtroom, they covered their faces. The defendants refused the last word.

The actions of Russian fans were politically motivated, the prosecutor said at the process. According to him, we are not talking about football problems, but about the right radicalism.

The court noted that Russian football hooligans were acting against two. “I hope they will return to Russia in the very near future,” the judge said.

In four of the five defendants, at the time of detention in the blood, from 0.42 to 0.92 ppm of alcohol was found. The fifth fan was sober. He was tested later than all.

On June 16 in the evening, the Russians attacked three Spaniards , two men and a woman near the Cologne Cathedral. On June 18, the court in Cologne issued an arrest warrant for five detained fans. The Russians were placed in an investigative prison. Another Russian citizen, detained with them, was released, since suspicions were not confirmed by him.

During Euro 2016, Russian fans arranged riots in European cities. As a result, 24 fans were deported to Russia. Three Russian fans - Alexei Yerunov, Sergey Gorbachev and Nikolai Morozov - were convicted by the French court to two, one and a half and one year of prison, respectively, respectively for participating in fights in Marseille before the Russia -England match.
