The Federal Forestry Agency purchased a useless equipment to extinguish forest fires. This was announced by the First Deputy Prosecutor General Alexander Bogsman at the expanded college of the department, TASS reports . Damage to the state amounted to 76.6 million rubles.

"Purchases to ensure state and municipal needs are another area where budget funds are not always spent effectively, and sometimes criminal. For example, in the Rosleskhoz, equipment is illegally included in the competitive documentation and subsequently purchased equipment that was absolutely useless when extinguishing forest fires," said Buppman. - According to the materials of the prosecutor’s inspection, the investigating authorities raised the question of initiating a criminal case and taking criminal law measures. ”

According to Buppman, violations in the field of public procurement were identified in the Ministry of Emergencies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rosselkhoznadzor, Roszdravnadzor and other organs.

According to the Ministry of Emergencies on the morning of Friday, 92 forest fires on an area of ​​12,488 hectares operated in Russia. The emergency regime in connection with fires was introduced throughout the Republic of Buryatia, Yamalo-Nenets AO, in one municipal district of the Komi Republic and two regions of the Irkutsk region.

In March, the Ministry of Economic Development reported that the total volume of the state order market, including the purchases of state corporations, reached 30 trillion rubles, that is, 25 percent of GDP . According to the agency, the number of specialists employed in the field of state order has reached one million people. As part of the purchases for the most budgetary funds in 2015, 2.07 trillion rubles were spent on the purchase of construction work. The second place in terms of contracts of contracts is occupied by the purchase of medical devices and pharmaceuticals, which spent about 486.6 billion rubles.
