A state of emergency has been introduced in Taman. Too many tourists have arrived

In the village of Taman in the Kuban, a state of emergency was introduced due to a lack of drinking water.

The press service of the Yugvodokanal company reported that frequent interruptions in water supply began "due to the increased influx of tourists at the height of the summer holiday season." Water consumption in the village has almost doubled compared to the spring period.

Yugvodokanal complained that numerous semi-legal hotels and catering establishments consume water in the coastal zone. The company warned that it "reserves the right to limit the water supply to homeowners and entrepreneurs engaged in illegal activity in the accommodation of vacationers in the private sector."

The supplier company also appealed to the residents of the village with a request to save and rationally use drinking water, not to use it for watering gardens and washing cars.
