In 2009, the bank of unrecognized Abkhazia released the coin with a face value of 10 APSARs with a portrait of Iskander. The coin has become part of the series "Outstanding Personality of Abkhazia."
In Moscow, the library No. 202 is named after Iskander in the western district of Fili-Davydkovo.
