The play about an adult Harry Potter, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” went on sale July 31.
On July 30, the official premiere of the play of the same name took place at the Palace Theater in London. The text of the book, according to the publishers, is identical to that used during the rehearsals of the play.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth book in the Harry Potter series. The play takes place 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts, described in the seventh book. Harry Potter has three children. He works for the Ministry of Magic, and one of his sons, Albus, is trying to cope with the fame he inherited from his father.
The play was written by the author of the Harry Potter books, JK Rowling, along with screenwriter Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany.
The book will be published in Russian by the Azbuka-Atticus publishing house. The book is planned to be published in November 2016.
