The US presidential candidate from the Democratic Party Hillary Clinton accused that when he was in 2009-2013, she personally contributed to the involvement of investors in Skolkovo. This was reported by RBC with reference to the article by The Wall Street Journal, prepared by the President of the American NGO "For the Accounts for the Power" (Government Accountability Institute, GAI) Peter Schweitzer, and at the same time a published GAI report.
It is claimed that 17 out of 28 key partners of Skolkov were either associated with Clinton Foundation - the Clinton and her husband, ex -US President Bill Clinton, either paid for the performances of the former owner of the White House.
According to GAI, defense developments in Skolkov have been conducted since 2011. Among the projects to which the State Department and Clinton personally helped to attract billions of dollars, they call the creation of radar surveillance equipment and hypersonic engines of cruise missiles.
The activities of Skolkov, noted in the report, caused the fear of some American military experts. In particular, the NGO quoted one of the 2012 studies, which stated that Skolkovo is called to serve as a mechanism for Russia to obtain technologies from around the world in the field of biomedicine, energy, space, satellite and nuclear technologies. ”
In 2014, the document noted, the FBI warned the Massachusian Institute of Technological Institute and a number of Boston companies that cooperation with Skolkov could make them involuntary accomplices of industrial espionage.
The State Department for Clinton assisted other Russian government structures, in particular Rusnano, also says GAI. The US Foreign Ministry helped state corporations in the search for American investors and organized meetings of Rusnano representatives with employees of American IT companies.
Among the investors of Skolkov and Clinton Foundation donors, the report mentioned both American IT giants Cisco, Intel and Google, as well as the structure of Russian oligarchs. In particular, the Renova group of companies, owned by the chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation Viktor Vekselberg, transferred the Clintons fund from 10 to 25 thousand dollars. Tentatively, the same amount was sacrificed by Clintons and ex-Senator Andrei Vavilov, chairman of the board of the Super Ox, who is a resident of the Skolkovo cluster of nuclear technologies.
The $ 145 million transferred to Clinton Foundation Nine shareholders of Uranium One, which in 2010 with the permission of the State Department was bought by the "atomredmetzolot" - a subsidiary of Rosatom.
Clinton actively uses the Russian theme in attacks on his opponent in the upcoming elections - a candidate from the Republican Party Donald Trump, periodically speaking with pro -Kremlin statements . So, in the interview published on Sunday, the Democrats candidate noticed that Trump "demonstrates the frightening readiness to support Putin."
“I think that the indulgence of this (the possible influence of Russia on the elections in the United States. - Ed.) From Trump, as well as his praise Putin ... They affect the issues of national security,” Clinton said. At the same time, she accused the Russian special services of hacker attacks on the computer network of the National Committee of the Democratic Party.
