The Islamic State called for jihad against Russia

The Islamic State (prohibited in the Russian Federation) published a video on YouTube, which called on members of its group to jihad against Russia. It is reported by Reuters .

Who posted this video is currently not clarified. The link to it appeared in the Telegram account used by the militants of the Islamic State.

The agency notes that nine -minute video also contains an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin and a threat to the country's residents.

Earlier, FSB director Alexander Bortnikov reported that under the control of the special services there are 220 people who can potentially become suicide bombers. He stated that special services regularly are working to calculate the recruiters of suicide bombers. Bortnikov emphasized that there is a problem of "obsessive heroization of suicide bombers, creating a halo of martyrs for faith around them."
