Arrest Efremova: For Lugansk will be responsible

For more than two years of the war in the east of Ukraine, the arrest of Efremov is almost the first serious signal of the readiness of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine to investigate the role of the leaders of the Party of Regions in inciting the conflict and financing of terrorism. But there is no promotion in a court investigation of this case yet.

In November last year, there was a strange detention of the ex-Minister of Justice of the times of Yanukovych Elena Lukash. She was suspected of involvement in crimes during Euromaidan and appropriation of state property. Lukash voluntarily testified to the SBU and the GPU, after which the Solomensky court of Kyiv freed her, returning foreign passports and security.

In absentia, the charges were brought by many members of the Party of Regions, they are put on the wanted list. But it is not known about a systemic investigation of the activities of regionals of the wide Ukrainian public.

Efremov headed the Lugansk wing of the Party of Regions. On the Internet there are many video evidence of his participation in the first rallies of separatists in Lugansk. He was one of the organizers of the so -called First All -Ukrainian Congress of Deputies of all levels in Severodonetsk on November 28, 2004. This congress was a response to the Orange Revolution and supported the decision of the Lugansk Regional Council on the creation of the "Autonomous Southeast Ukrainian Republic."

By the way, the first at this congress was the Donetsk regional, Rinat Akhmetov, Boris Kolesnikov, who said: “And if we are not allowed to protect our choice, we are ready to go to extreme measures.
