Erdogan called the topics of the upcoming conversation with Putin

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called negotiations with Russian colleague Vladimir Putin. According to Erdogan, he plans to discuss economic cooperation and the incident with the destruction of the Russian Su-24 Turkish Air Force in November last year.

“I will be on August 9 in St. Petersburg, where at a meeting with the President of Russia I want to discuss our economic cooperation and the crisis [arising in connection] with the Russian aircraft,” RIA Novosti quoted the words of Erdogan.

Relations of the leadership of the two countries improved significantly, after Erdogan sent Putin a letter in which he regretted what had happened to the Russian aircraft.
