Six activists of Sasna Tsrer were arrested in Yerevan

In Yerevan at night, six more activists of the Sasna Tsare detachment, who surrendered on July 31 after a two -week action at the captured police base in the metropolitan district of Erebuni, were arrested. Such information is transmitted by Radio Azatutyun. The actual press secretary of the detachment of Varuzhan Avetisyan, wounded in the leg and refused to hospitalize Araik Handoyan (Lone Wolf), as well as Vardan Geralean, Smbat Barshegyan and the brothers Sergey and the Arrege Kureiganov, was sent to prison.

As Tert.am clarifies , the court of the Yerevan districts of Arakir and Canker-Zeytun made the corresponding decisions.

Clause 1 of Article 218 (hostage capture committed by an organized group) and part 3 of Article 235 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (illegal turnover of weapons and ammunition and ammunition) are charged with all six.

The day before , new arrests in the case of the organization of "riots" on peaceful actions of protest were reported. In particular, the deputy chairman of the "Heritage" party Armen Martirosyan, a press secretary of this party, David Sanasaryan, former press secretary of Ovsep Khursshudyan, as well as an activist of the New Armenia, Andriasa Gukasyan, was sent to prison.
