Pokemon Go blocked in Iran

Iranian authorities have blocked the augmented reality mobile game Pokemon Go in the country. They explained their decision for security reasons, according to the BBC.

The decision was taken by the Supreme Council of Virtual Spaces, the body that oversees the Internet.

The Pokemon Go game has been criticized in some countries, including Russia. However, Iran became the first country to ban the game.
